Newsworthy is our regular news update. Instead of killing your inboxes with re-hashed press releases or junk you don’t need, we’ll pull out a few interesting products, stories and other things we’ve stumbled across, write our thoughts on them and let you read the info for yourself.

The Ducati Multistrada Enduro is a bike that excites us immensely. Anyone that has ridden a normal Multistrada knows about the wild, adrenaline fuelled, outrageously exciting ride that is Italian bike.

This video only adds to our excitement level with the Multistrada looking as though it has the abilities to perform on a level equal to that of the best in class off-road. A Multistrada with those traits is only a good thing. The R 1200 GS and KTM 1290 are some of the most fun  motorcycles to ride on the planet and adding another option to that list cannot be a bad thing.

The demand in the high end ADV segment is clearly strong with the R 1200 GS and GSA topping the sales charts for BMW and KTM’s 1290 selling out easily around the globe. The arrival of the Africa Twin is a pretty large signal that the style of bike we love so much at brake is not just a flash in the pan but something brands are keen to put time and effort into.

The alterations that Ducati have made to the new Multistrada also suggest that development was thought out with the intention of genuinely attacking the capabilities of the KTM’s and BMW’s. Now all we need from Ducati is a smaller version Multistrada with the HyperMotard engine and we’ll be signing up for our Ducati tattoos…
