Sometimes things have to happen. The pieces fall into place, the Brake Magazine crew get excited and the second ever Brake Original Film is the product. What started out as a review of the Yamaha’s super cool, almost full factory customer bike turned into a three minute slow motion, berm busting video. Meet the WR 450 F Rally Original Film.

Shot on the infinitely ugly beach based motorcross track at Loon Plage in Northern France, our test of the WR 450 F Rally Replica was never meant to be any more than a cool review of the customer version of the bike that very nearly took the win at the 2018 Dakar. When we sat down to edit the footage everything changed. The footage came together in a way that made it impossible to just create a review from, so we let it run.

We’ve still produced a review video and a readers questions video. You’ll find them under bike reviews, but that isn’t the point of an original film. Original Films are about getting you amped to go ride, to explore the world and be stoked on life. We hope you enjoy those three minutes as much as we enjoyed shooting them and we’re sorry there isn’t more. That pesky French weather wasn’t on our side, but the bike was.

Thanks for watching and remember, life’s better when you’re riding.
