What do Dakar Riders wear? The redbull Media Crew sat down with KTM’s three prize factory riders, current champ Toby Price, Mathias Walkner and the UK’s very own superstar, Sam Sunderland.

 

The give you a quick run down of the kit they use. Most it is motocross/enduro style kit, designed to be light and flexible and breathe well. The piece of kit that remains custom with every Dakar rider is the Jacket. The need to carry all your supplies for a day or two on your body, without over heating of freezing to death requires a jacket that is very unique.

 

Oh, and then we have Toby Price’s gold boots… If you’re that fast you can do whatever you want.
