The 2019 Dakar Preview Show – Live @ The Bike Shed

We love everything about the Dakar. We know more than we should, get seriously nerdy and are planning to race the event as a team in 2020. We love it so much, last year we created a podcast/sit down chat show about the event. For 2019, we’re bring it back with more style. This time it’s a live show.

We’ll be recording our show live at The Bike Shed in London on Saturday, 5th January. For those that can’t make our live recording, fear not. We’ll still publish the video through our YouTube channel.

However, if you can make it to Shoreditch, we’ve got some pretty cool things in store. As well as addressing the 2019 edition of the Dakar in our podcast, we’ll re-cap the previous year and follow it with an open ended Q&A session with the Brake Magazine crew about all things Dakar, including our preparations and plans for the coming year. Following that, we’ll run two mini classes headed up by eight time Dakar finisher Si Pavey. The classes will be based on navigation in the Dakar and the technical aspects of a Dakar bike. Finally, we’ll have a little free raffle for some Dakar memorabilia.

The fully itinerary for the event is below and if you’re interested in learning a little about the Dakar, hanging out and talking codswallop about bikes for an evening, let us know you’re coming by dropping an RSVP email to
