100 Kicks in the desert.

A film about the bravery and endurance, dreams and naivety. Made by our community, for our community.

A film about the greatest motorcycle race.

The Dakar Rally is an obsession. For most motorcycle riders it represents the pinnacle of adventure sport. A gruelling test of human endurance, technical skill, navigation and persistence.

100 Kicks in the Desert is an homage to the earliest pioneers of the Dakar Rally, when the race was a raw adventure more than anything else.

We set out to make a documentary film that explored what riding the first Dakar Rally in 1979 would be like; recreating stages on location in North Africa, using hand written route notes, on replica Dakar bikes from the 1970’s.

The film was majority funded by the Brake community, and went on to make official selections at multiple film festivals. We premiered the film to a sold out crowd at Bike Shed Moto Co. in London and the film has been viewed by more than 100,000 people on Youtube.
